Performance air filtration
Many people have the perception that by fitting the biggest open type/performance air filter on to any vehicle will dramatically improve its performance. This really is mind over matter so to speak. The reality of it is NO 9 times out of 10 all it has in fact done has introduced your ears to the induction noise normally well harboured within the walls of the original air box..

Air box replacement systems
CDA filtering system is composed of a cylindrical carbon air box containing a washable filtering element. Substituting the original air box with our CDA, cold air is directly channelled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter and drawn into the engine with a very small pressure drop (patented system). The CDA system also includes a black alloy ducting (60 cm length) for connecting the system to an air intake on the front of the car. The system is available in two different dimensions: we advise Type 1 for engines up to 1,600 cc; Type 2 for bigger displacements. Every type is also available in different diameters on engine side for connections. Back to back Dyno testing carried out in house demonstrates the great performance advantages of the CDA filtering system over conventional open type filtration systems which after many years of testing give very little if any gains at all (in some cases it has been known for the said vehicle to loose power with one of these over the standard induction system).
